Centralized Development Projects 2017

Using IT to share academic contacts

The core activity of this project is to support the exchange of academic contacts with foreign hosting professors, which enables the four participating universities to strengthen their relationship. The key areas of interest are aimed at, among others, scientific, medical, pharmaceutical as well as educational programs. Lectures of eminent international experts, who have agreed to participate in the project, will be webcasted, to share the information among the participating universities.

Benefits of active contact with foreign academics are, increased language competences and a better understanding and appreciation of cultural differences.

Next to that, the project can contribute to creating a competitive advantage of graduates in the job market. The strategic cooperation between the universities, as well as the use of new tools, may broadly enrich participation of host lecturers at the universities, and encourage greater interest among students.
